About Artwork

Inner Echo shows a nude male figure turned left, face visible in near-profile, head angled down. One hand lifts to ear level, a small, intimate gesture that reads like listening. The torso is built from rubbed whites and warm reds, with ochre and pink tones catching on muscle and rib. The black paper deepens the shadows and gives the skin a quiet glow.

In this body of work, flowers function as a Bouquet of Thoughts: emotions and impulses in their full, messy volume. Cut flowers also carry a built-in timer—beauty that’s already separated from its source. That tension gives the piece its pull: tenderness, pressure, and time in the same frame.

Behind and above the head, a dense bouquet expands outward in saturated reds, yellows, whites, and purples. The flowers don’t replace the figure’s identity—they crowd the space around it. Up close, the bouquet is made from layered loops and scratches; from a distance, it becomes a single bright weight against the dark.

Bouquet of Thoughts is rich, complex, and overwhelming. It doesn’t decorate the figure; it describes what can’t be contained neatly inside a human outline. Cut flowers also carry their own clock: beauty that’s already separated from its source, already leaning toward decay.
